A selection of conference papers will be invited and after substantial extension may be considered for publication in the special issues. The paper selection will take place after the end of the conference by the IEEE CIBCB Organizing Committee and the invited papers will undergo the journal’s standard review process.
The IEEE CIBCB Organizing Committee has arranged the following Special Issues:
- BioSystems journal (Elsevier).
- International Journal on Artificial Intelligence Tools (World Scientific).
As IEEE CIBCB 2026 is an interdisciplinary conference, the Organizing Committee is also in discussions with additional publishers to identify appropriate journal opportunities for other research areas.
